With over 26 years of experience in real estate, Derrick Tucker offers clients a deep wealth of knowledge, proven negotiation skills, and a passion for helping others build wealth through homeownership. A Washington, D.C. native and longtime Maryland resident, Derrick proudly serves buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Southern Maryland—including Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s Counties—as well as Howard, Prince George’s, Montgomery, and Anne Arundel Counties.
Derrick began his real estate journey early, purchasing his first home at 23 and his first investment property just two years later. After two decades in commercial real estate, he transitioned to residential, where he now focuses on helping first-time home buyers, luxury clients, and real estate investors make smart, strategic moves. His ability to guide clients through complex deals, paired with his signature attention to detail, continues to deliver outstanding results.

Derrick holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and an MBA in Real Estate and Urban Development from American University. He’s also been featured on HGTV’s National Open House and is a member of the HomeSmart Millionaire Club.
Outside of real estate, Derrick enjoys luxury home design, golf, high-end fashion, professional football and track & field events. He’s also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and a dedicated husband and father of five.
